Drury to celebrate 10th anniversary of 2013 NCAA-II National Championship at Homecoming game on Feb. 11

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury basketball will celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the Panthers’ 2013 NCAA-II National Championship on Feb. 11 at their Homecoming game when they play Missouri-St. Louis at the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Members of the 2013 squad will be on hand and honored between the women’s and men’s games that afternoon. The women’s game against UMSL starts at 1 pm, then the men’s tipoff is scheduled for 3 pm. Drury Athletics will host a reception for the team that is open to all fans following the men’s game in The Lair located inside the O’Reilly Family Event Center.  
 
The Panthers went 31-4 in 2013 and ended the season winning their final 23 games, including the National Championship game, with a thrilling 74-73 victory over Metro State in Atlanta, Georgia. It marked Drury’s second national championship in men’s basketball and the program’s first at the NCAA-II level.
