Track and Field Set for Texas Tech Open and Indiana Relays

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri track and field team will participate in both the Texas Tech Open at the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas and the Indiana University Relays at Gladstein Fieldhouse in Bloomington, Ind. this weekend.

Peter Canak and Isabella Sokolova will open the Texas Tech Open for the Tigers, partaking in their respective long jump events on Friday at 3 p.m. Several student-athletes will see action in long jump, high jump and triple jump events, while Arianna Fisher and Isabella Sokolova will also compete in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles, respectively. Mizzou will open their Indiana University Relays in the distance medley relay on Friday at 7:20 p.m. with Lewis Haney, Johnny Martin, Jonathan Schmidt and Jack Warner. Mizzou will close the event on Saturday at 2:15 with the women’s 4×400-meter relay, directly followed by the men’s event with two Tiger squads participating.
