Three Panthers named All-Great Lakes Valley Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The Drury men’s soccer team had three players named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Second Team in a vote of league coaches.
 
Senior forward Jamie O’Brien was named to his fourth all-conference team in his career and his second time being named to the Second Team. The native of Darlington, England is fifth in the GLVC in points per game with 1.09 and sixth in goals per game with 0.45. O’Brien also has two game-winning goals, which ties him for second in the conference. O’Brien has eight goals and two assists this season, and, all-time, he ranks tied for second at Drury with 35 career goals. He is also tied for fifth in career points with 74.
 
Kaelan Debbage earned his first all-conference selection. The sophomore forward from Queensland, Australia tied for second in the GLVC in points with 19 and is tied for third in goals with eight. His two-game winning goals tied him for second in the GLVC.
 
Defender John Clout got named to his first all-conference team. The senior from Hamilton, New Zealand, led the team in minutes played, only being absent from the pitch for eight minutes all season. He helped marshal a backline that finished top-five in the GLVC in goals against. That unit only gave up 18 goals and kept four shutouts. He also added one goal and two assists on the offensive side.
 
The Panthers finished 7-3-7, and 5-1-6 in the GLVC. They are in consideration for an NCAA-II regional spot in the national tournament.
