Kasia Rogowska named GLVC PNC Swim & Dive Athlete of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury women’s swimmer Kasia Rogowska was named the Great Lakes Lakes Valley Conference PNC Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week following her performance at Missouri State last Friday.
 
Rogowska, a senior from Stare Bielice, Poland, won two events and finished second in another in Drury’s dual against Missouri State on Friday. Rogowska won the 50 Free with a time of 23.88, and swam leadoff in Drury’s win in the 400 Free Relay, completing her leg in 52.29. The relay team finished first with a time of 3:29.12. She posted a second-place finish in the 100 Free with a time of 52.23.
 
The award marks the first weekly honor from the GLVC in Rogowska’s career.
 
The Drury swimming & diving teams compete again Nov. 4-5 when they host the Drury Invitational at the Breech Pool.
