Indianapolis defeats Drury 1-0

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Drury fell to Indianapolis in a tough defensive match on Friday night. The Panthers and Greyhounds fought for position for most of the game. There was a collection of shots for both teams as the Greyhounds fired five shots on goal while Drury had two of their own. The lone goal of the game was a diving header from Ibo Yilmaz in the 78th minute.
 
It was only the second loss on the season for the Panthers and their first to a Great Lakes Valley Conference opponent. The Panthers now move to 6-2-5 on the season with a record of 4-1-4 in conference play. Indianapolis now moves to 7-2-3 with a record of 4-2-2 in conference matches.  
 
John Clout and Jason Puente had the two shots on goal for the Panthers. Drury’s Tyler Frolik had four saves on the night. Frolik now has 45 saves on the season.
 
The Panthers are on the road for their next game as they travel to Lebanon, Illinois on Sunday to take on Mckendree. Kickoff will be at 2:30 pm (Central).
