Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri head coach Stefanie Golan announced the 2022 soccer schedule which will see the Tigers play 11 home games at Audrey J. Walton Stadium.

“We are excited about our 2022 schedule as it provides us with different types of challenges.” Golan, entering her second year at Mizzou, said. “We love that we get two exhibitions to build through prior to kicking off our season, and the nonconference segment will certainly test us along the way to prepare us for Southeastern Conference play. We are looking forward to seeing our fans back at Audrey J. Walton Stadium this fall with 11 home games on the slate!”

Six of Mizzou’s opponents appeared in the 2021 NCAA Tournament while South Carolina and Tennessee each advanced beyond the Round of 16.

After opening with a pair of exhibitions, the Tigers open the regular season with two home games on opening weekend, facing SEMO (Aug. 18) and Ohio State (Aug. 21).

The Tigers will then take on Southern Illinois before hitting the road for the first time to face off with Omaha. Mizzou returns home for a big weekend, starting with perennial powerhouse North Carolina (Sept. 1) before facing off with rival Kansas (Sept. 4). A road trip to Illinois (Sept. 8) closes out the non-league schedule.

Mizzou’s SEC slate opens at home against Auburn (Sept. 16). The Tigers will play host to Vanderbilt (Sept. 25), Mississippi State (Sept. 30), Florida (Oct. 9) and Kentucky (Oct. 20) and battle LSU (Sept. 22), Tennessee (Oct. 6), Georgia (Oct. 14), Texas A&M (Oct. 23) and South Carolina (Oct. 27) on the road.

Game times and television opportunities will be announced as they’re finalized. Admission is free to all Mizzou soccer games at Audrey J. Walton Stadium throughout the 2022 season.

The SEC Soccer Tournament will take place at the Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Fla. for the first time, beginning on October 30.
