COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field will send 22 student-athletes to the NCAA West Prelims next week, it was announced by the NCAA on Thursday. The four-day meet with be held May 25-28 in Fayetteville, Ark.
On the women’s side, 14 student-athletes will compete in seven individual events with multiple entries in the triple jump (four) and javelin (five). Eight of the marks that advanced student-athletes to NCAA West Prelims were set at last weekend’s SEC Championships.
On the men’s side, eight student-athletes in six individual events with multiple entries in the discus (two) and 1,500m (two). Five of the marks that advanced student-athletes to NCAA West Prelims were set at last weekend’s SEC Championships.
