Track and Field Takes on Two Meets

COLUMBIA, Mo. — This weekend, University of Missouri track and field will compete at Drake Relays (Des Moines, Iowa) Thursday-Saturday, and the Rock Chalk Classic (Lawrence, Kan.) on Saturday. Live results for both events will be available via PT Timing.

Mizzou’s events at Drake Relays start Thursday with Melissa Menghini (Fenton, Mo.) competing in the women’s 3,000m steeplechase at 6:23 p.m. Friday’s competition will see student-athletes compete in the races, and the 4×1,600m, 4x100m, and 4x800m relays starting at 10:42 a.m. Competition in Des Moines will conclude Saturday with the distance medley and sprint medley relays.

Saturday’s Rock Chalk Classic will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Mitchell Weber (Saint Clair, Minn.), Jason Petko (Cary, Ill.) and Rece Rowan (Colorado Springs, Colo.) in the men’s discuss. The women’s discus will immediately follow. The meet will conclude with the men’s 5,000m at 8:20 p.m.
