WATERLOO, Iowa— The Drury Panthers are in fourth place after 36 holes at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship at Annbriar Golf Course on Friday in Waterloo, Iowa.
Drury is 90-over-par with a team score of 666 after two rounds were completed on Friday. 11th ranked Indianapolis is in first place at 44-over-par while Missouri-St. Louis is in second at +59. Lindenwood is 72-over-par and in third. The top four teams after three rounds and 54 holes will advance to a match-play, four-team tournament on Sunday to determine the league champion. The Panthers will head to Saturday’s third round with a 12-shot lead over fifth-place Lewis.
Annaliesia Salazar leads Drury and is tied for 12th with a 20-over-par, 164. The senior from Mesquite, Texas, opened the tournament shooting 87, then turned in the best round of the tournament for the Panthers so far, posting a 77 in her second 18 holes.
Taryn Overstreet is tied for 19th at +23 (167), while Ellie Cobb shot an 84 in both rounds to be at 24-over (168). Isabelle Thrall is 25-over-par (169) and tied for 28th, and Abby Howard is at +26 (170) and tied for 30th.
Cathi Graf from Indianapolis leads the tournament with a +5, 149. She owns a three-shot lead over Tove Brunell from UMSL.
The third round of the GLVC Championship starts Saturday morning, and the four-team tournament is scheduled for Sunday.
