Tigers Open Post-Season in SEC Championship This Week

 

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The University of Missouri men’s golf team enters the post-season portion of its schedule this week with the Southeastern Conference Championship, held April 20-24. For the 21st consecutive year, the league event will be held at the Sea Island Golf Club on the Seaside Course (par 72, 6,253 yards) in St. Simons Island, Ga.

The Event:  For the fifth-straight season, the 2022 SEC Championships will feature both stroke and match play. Three rounds of stroke play are scheduled for Wed.-Fri., April 20-22. Match play will follow on Sat., April 23 and Sun., April 24.

The Field: No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 10 Arkansas, No. 12 Georgia, No. 15 Auburn, No. 16 Florida, No. 18 Tennessee, No. 19 Texas A&M, No. 21 Ole Miss, No. 22 South Carolina, No. 25 LSU, No. 42 Alabama, No. 45 Missouri, No. 57 Mississippi State, No. 63 Kentucky (GolfStat.com)

The Lineup: Mizzou’s travel roster will consist of the five competing players in the lineup with one substitution player.
