Henderson and Ward win Major League Fishing event at Table Rock Lake

BRANSON, Mo.— Drury’s Clay Henderson and Zachery Ward won the Major League Fishing collegiate tour stop at Table Rock Lake last weekend as the duo landed five fish and a total of 20 pounds, four ounces to finish first in a field of 149 boats last weekend. The duo came in one pound and 14 ounces in front of a boat from McKendree to win the event.
 
The tournament win clinches a berth in the 2023 MLF National Championship for Henderson and Ward.
 
Drury had another boat in the top 10 as Stanislav Sedletskii and Brycen Soliday brought in five fish and 14 pounds, 14 ounces to finish ninth. Cole Breeden and Hunter Baird weighed in 13 pounds, 7 ounces to finish 15th. Beau Browning and Jake Peck claimed 23rd place (12 lbs 9 oz.), while  Jacob Welch and Lee Lambrecht caught 11 pounds, 12 ounces to finish 27th. Sam Engelmeyer and Brant Rowland finished 36th with (9 lbs 14 oz) and Trenton Webster and Hunter Alsip caught 8 pounds, 12 ounces to finish 43rd.
 
The Panthers are scheduled to compete again in the Bassmaster College Series on April 22-23 at Lake Norfolk near Mountain Home, Arkansas.
