Drury ranked 3rd in this week’s NCAA-II poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—  The Drury Lady Panthers are ranked number three in this week’s NCAA-II coaches’ poll. It marks the second-straight the Drury has been ranked third by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
 
Fort Hays State (5-0) is ranked number one in the nation while defending national champion Lubbock Christian (8-1) is ranked second.
 
The Lady Panthers are 9-1 after their 90-74 win at Missouri S&T in their Great Lakes Valley Conference opener on Monday night. Drury is the only team in the GLVC in this week’s top 25.
 
The poll marks the 121st consecutive week the Lady Panthers have been ranked in the top 25, the longest streak in the nation. It is also their 59th straight week in the top 10.
 
The Lady Panthers return to action on Saturday when they host Rockhurst at 1 pm in the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
