Mizzou Volleyball Prepares to Host Tennessee

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball (4-24, 1-14 SEC) prepares to host Tennessee (19-8, 11-6 SEC) on Wednesday, Nov. 24, in the last regular season home match. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

Wednesday’s match against the Volunteers will air on SEC Network.


  • Mizzou leads Tennessee 10-7 in the all-time series.
  • The two side last met in spring with Tennessee taking both matches.
  • The Tigers have experienced successes at home, taking six of the seven matches played in Hearnes Center.


  • The last time Mizzou hit the court they dropped a pair to Georgia. They lost the first match 3-0, then drop the second match 3-1.
  • Freshman Kaylee Cox led the Tigers with 19 kills over both matches. While freshman Kayla Burbage and junior Anna Dixon contributed 17 kills each to the Tiger offense.
  • At the net the Tigers had a total of 18 blocks over two matches. Redshirt senior Anna D’Cruz and freshman Trista Strasser both contributed 4 blocks.
