Three Panthers named All-GLVC

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men’s soccer team had three players named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team in a vote of league coaches.
Senior forward Jamie O’Brien was named a First Team All-GLVC performer. The native of Darlington, England, is tied for third in the league with eight goals, and he is tied for seventh in points with 16. His four game-winning goals are tied for the lead in the GLVC. The award marks the third in O’Brien’s career he’s been named to an All-GLVC squad.
Josh Lewis-Evans was named Second Team All-GLVC. Also from England, Lewis-Evans earned an all-conference bid as a defender and three goals with three assists this season. The honor is the second all-league selection of his career.
Adem Hamdaoua, a sophomore from Paris, France, landed on the all-conference list for the second-straight season and was named a Third Team selection. Hamdaoua has five goals, two assists, and 12 points so far this season.
The Panthers are 7-6-4, 7-3-4 in the GLVC, and are seeded fifth on the conference tournament bracket. Drury plays at Lewis on Sunday at 1 pm in the quarterfinals.
