DU bass fishing ranked 4th nationally

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury bass fishing team has its highest ranking in program history as they are fourth this week in the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year rankings released by the Association of Collegiate Anglers.
Adrian (Mich.) is ranked first in this week’s rankings, while McKendree is ranked second, and Auburn is third.
The Panthers were ranked sixth last week, which matched their best position in the ACA rankings. Last weekend, Drury anglers had two teams finish in the top 25 at the AFTCO Open on Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas and took first on the same lake in the Major League Fishing tour stop on Oct. 1.
Drury is scheduled to compete again this weekend at Lake of the Ozarks and in the Arkansas Collegiate Series tour stop near Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
