Mizzou Downed by South Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball (3-13, 0-2 SEC) fell 25-12, 25-17, 25-19, to South Carolina (10-3, 2-1 SEC) on Thursday night in the Hearnes Center.

The Tigers were paced by junior Anna Dixon and Graduate Student Brynn Carlson with eight kills. Freshman Kaylee Cox added another seven kills for Mizzou.

Kyla Manning led South Carolina with 11 kills, while Lauren McCutcheon added another eight for the Gamecocks.

  • Sophomore Emily Brown produced double-digit digs in five-straight matches with 16 against the Gamecocks on Thursday.
