Spots open for Lady Panthers fundraising golf tournament set for Aug. 29

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Opportunities to participate in the 14th Annual Tom Kellogg Lady Panthers Fundraising Golf Tournament are still available. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 29, at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar. Registration begins at 12:30 pm with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm.
 
Spots remain open for individual participation or foursomes. All participants receive green fees, a player gift, snacks provided throughout the event, and food provided by Rib Crib. Contests and events during the tournament include a Casino Hole, a $10,000 Hole-In-One, a $40 Skins Game, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, a Putting Contest, and Top Flight prizes.
 
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Presenting sponsors for this year’s event include Payne Sign Company, Rib Crib,  and Silo Ridge.
 
The event also provides the opportunity to meet new members of the Lady Panthers, interact with the team and coaching staff. Head coach Amy Eagan will begin her second season as Drury’s head coach in 2021-22 and her 13th season overall as a collegiate head coach. In her first year at DU, she led the Lady Panthers to a 24-2 record, a GLVC championship with a 17-1 league record, the Midwest Regional title, and the program reached the NCAA-II championship game for the second time in team history.
 
Assistant coaches Addy Roller and Jordan Mellott return, and Drury will add graduate assistant coach Taylor Birch to the coaching staff.
