SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Former Missouri State pitcher Logan Wiley signed a contract with the Sioux Falls (S.D.) Canaries of the American Association, a Professional Partner League of Major League Baseball, and made his professional debut last week. Wiley is the 147th MSU baseball player to sign a professional deal.
A Springfield native, Wiley spent five seasons in a Bears’ uniform, finishing his career ranked fifth in school history with 41 starts and eighth with 271.2 innings pitched. A two-time all-Missouri Valley Conference selection and two-time MVC Pitcher of the Week, Wiley had 19 wins and a 3.71 ERA with 231 strikeouts in his Missouri State career.
