DU bass fishing holds onto number seven national ranking

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury bass fishing team maintained their number seven national ranking in the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year points race. The Panthers have accumulated 12,640 points in events this season and held onto seventh place this month.
 
The University of Montevallo (Ala.) is ranked number one with 16,965 points, while McKendree is second (15,845), and Murray State is third (14,440). This week’s rankings have Adrian (Mich.) ranked fourth with 14,075 points, Carson-Newman (Tenn.) is fifth (14,010), and Blue Mountain (Miss.) is just ahead of the Panthers with 13,245 points.
 
Drury competes again May 26-27 in the ACA Collegiate Championship on Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina.
