Drury volleyball moves up to 9th in NCAA-II coaches’ poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury volleyball team moved up one spot in this week’s American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA-II poll and is ranked ninth in the nation.

Drury is 3-1 and won their lone game last week with a 3-0 victory at William Jewell.

Hillsdale (8-0) is ranked number one in this week’s poll. Fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference member Lewis (4-0) is ranked second and picked up three first-place votes. Angelo State (6-0) is ranked third, and Metro State-Denver (6-0) is fourth).

Six GLVC teams are ranked in this week’s top 25. In addition to the Panthers and Lewis, Rockhurst (3-1) is sixth, Missouri-St. Louis (3-0) is seventh, Quincy is ranked 11th, Southern Indiana is number 17, while Indianapolis and Missouri S&T are tied for 25th

Drury travels to Indianapolis for a GLVC triangular on Saturday. The Panthers will take on the 25th ranked Greyhounds, then Maryville on Saturday.
