A Springfield police spokeswoman confirmed to Jock that four Bradley players are listed in a police report related to an active sex offense investigation: Elijah Childs, Ja’Shon Henry, Danya Kingsby, and Terry Nolan Jr..
None of the players were arrested or charged with crimes.
The incident report sent to Jock shows the investigation is for a “Sex Offense, All Except Rape.” The incident is listed as taking place at 2009 South National Avenue in Springfield, the TownePlace Suites.
While the incident is listed as taking place between 12:45 and 1:45 a.m. on February 13, the report was made to the Springfield PD until around 7:30 a.m..
Bradley announced half an hour before the team played Missouri State on Saturday that the four players were suspended for “violations of program standards.” No explanation as to the violations were given at the time.
Bradley coach Brian Wardle said Tuesday the players remain suspended. Three of the players have been starters for the program this season.
