Panthers back home to face William Jewell, Thur., 6:05 pm
The Drury Panthers are back at home for their second of three games this week as they host William Jewell on Thursday at 6:05 pm at the O’Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury is 3-3 and is coming off of a 78-73 loss at Missouri-St. Louis on Tuesday. The Cardinals opened the year with a 70-69 win at Indianapolis, a team that hosted last year’s NCAA-II Midwest Regional tournament. William Jewell lost at Southwest Baptist on Saturday, 74-62, in their last game.
Jason Montgomery had 35 points and eight rebounds to lead Drury at UMSL on Tuesday. The Panthers have had players score 30 or more points in two of their last three games. Conley Garrison had 34 points on Jan. 6 against McKendree.
Drury leads the all-time series against William Jewell 41-34 and took both games against the Cardinals last year. The Panthers won 89-59 in Liberty, Missouri, on Feb. 15, and they won at the O’ 85-68 on Feb. 27.
Drury is back at home on Saturday when they host Rockhurst for a 2 pm game at the O’. Saturday’s game will end a stretch of six games in 14 days for the Panthers.

Garrison enters the next game with 1,495 career points and the senior from Bolivar is five points away from reaching 1,500 career points.
